In line with softening of global oil prices, OMCs have not revised petrol and diesel prices for the past 10 days since July 18.

With no change in prices on Monday, petrol continues to be sold in the national capital for Rs 101.84 per litre, while diesel is also being sold at the unchanged price of Rs 89.87 a litre.

Across the country as well, Petrol price increased in the range of 30-40 paise per litre, while diesel prices remained unchanged.

The fuel prices have been increasing constantly since May and touched Rs 100.20 per litre in Hyderabad on June 14.

The price of diesel in Delhi remains at Rs 89.36 per litre, while in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata it is priced at Rs 96.91, Rs 93.91 and Rs 92.27 per litre, respectively.

The constantly increasing prices saw a litre of petrol costing Rs.100.10, while that of diesel was Rs.95.04 on Monday.

With global crude prices at around $ 69 a barrel mark, OMCs may have revise fuel prices upwards again if there is any further firming up.
