Earlier on Sunday, Modi also inaugurated the extension of Delhi Airport Metro Express line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.
"The 'PM Vishwakarma' scheme places great emphasis on equipping Vishwakarma partners with crucial training, technology, and tools in the coming times. During the training period, participants will receive a subsidy of Rs 500."
Chandranath Sinha alleged that the non-inclusion of the handloom sector in the PM Vishwakarma scheme shows the Centre's "step-motherly treatment" of the state.
The Vishwakarma scheme, clearly modeled on Telangana’s BC Bandhu scheme though with a few modifications, interestingly keeps up the Modi government’s ‘traditional occupation’ of copying schemes from the country’s youngest State.
