The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the doubling of the 256 km Narkatiaganj-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Darbhanga and Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur rail sections in Bihar, along with the construction of a new 57 km line between Errupalem and Namburu via Amaravati.
