Indian Railways’ RailOne app now offers a 3% discount on unreserved ticket bookings made through digital payments, excluding R-Wallet. Passengers can book tickets from home, avoid queues, and enjoy cashless payments through UPI, Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, and others.
Indian Railways is upgrading its passenger reservation system to handle over 100,000 ticket bookings per minute, a fourfold increase. The revamp includes new cloud-based technology and improved passenger facilities like the RailOne App and expanded non-AC coach production.
