Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi will visit Kota, Rajasthan, on June 17 for his student-focused outreach programme Chhatron ki Goonj. The event, designed as an interactive dialogue rather than a political rally, comes amid rising concerns over NEET, paper leaks, and recruitment controversies.
Key promises include creating 10 lakh job opportunities, implementing a new recruitment scheme at the panchayat level, and doubling the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance scheme's annual benefit from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
The Congress leaders were seen riding on tractors, camels and elephants besides participating in a "Paidal March" as party workers and protestors raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
