The Election Commission of India has announced biennial Rajya Sabha elections to fill two seats from Telangana, with polling scheduled for March 16, 2026. The terms of Abhishek Manu Singhvi (Congress) and KR Suresh Reddy (BRS) end on April 9.

The 77-year-old leader will begin their first term in the Upper House following five terms as a Lok Sabha MP.

The trio met the party president and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and thanked him at CM's office in the assembly.
