India Inc had invested USD 1.39 billion in overseas ventures in the year-ago month

In the fortnight ended February 28, 2020, bank credit stood at Rs 101.05 lakh crore and deposits at Rs 133.26 lakh crore, released by RBI showed.

Of the total investment made by Indian companies in foreign markets, $1.36 billion was in the form of loan; $297.37 million comprised as equity investment and the rest of $183.82 million was by way of issuance of guarantee

In the previous week to December 18, the reserves had surged by $2.563 billion to a lifetime high of $581.131 billion

Now, they all are available round-the-clock with RTGS getting offered 24/7 in the second week of December.

In the fortnight ended December 6, 2019, bank credit had stood at Rs 99.35 lakh crore and deposits at Rs 131.06 lakh crore

In the previous week ended October 9, 2020, the reserves had increased by $5.867 billion to reach $551.505 billion
