At least six people were killed and three injured as heavy rain, landslides and flash floods hit parts of Sri Lanka. Nearly 1,900 people were moved to relief centres, while schools closed and authorities issued flood and weather warnings
District Collector D Anudeep directed the officials of concerned departments to complete the works allotted to them under Godavari Flood Management Plan at the earliest and be ready for a mock-drill to be conducted in July first week.
