Malhotra says “We have included finance to small renewable energy projects – solar, biomass based, windmills, micro-hydel plants and non-conventional energy based public utilities viz street lighting systems, and remote village electrification projects as part of priority sector lending”
Addressing the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor's Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST), in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Monday, Bhatti said Telangana was developing a comprehensive renewable energy(RE) policy to ensure sustainable, reliable and affordable power, promote Renewable Energy projects and attract private investments.
