India's military might, cultural diversity, social and economic progress will be on display during the 72nd Republic Day celebrations at the majestic Rajpath in the national capital today.

The protesting unions has also announced a foot march to Parliament on February 1, when the annual Budget is presented.

Police has said that the barricades would be lifted at Singhu, Tikri and Gazipur borders on January 26 after the Republic Day parade is over

"Lepakshi is a fine example of architectural grandeur. It belongs to the 16th century temple of stone in Vijayanagara style," said an official.

Mamata Banerjee said that her government has also set up a committee to conduct year-long celebrations till January 23, 2022 across the state.
