Batra has been working with the ICICI Group for the last 20 years and is currently the President with responsibilities of the Corporate Centre at the bank.

He also highlighted the RBI's and government's role and steps required for enhancing financial inclusion and education.

A moratorium has been imposed on the bank and cash withdrawals have been capped at Rs 25,000 per account.
