The Ganesh laddu prasadam at Richmond Villas, Bandlaguda, was auctioned for a record Rs 2.32 crore, surpassing last year’s Rs 1.87 crore bid. Proceeds will go to RV Diya Charitable Trust, which funds student education and welfare activities for the underprivileged.

Every year, the Richmond Villas residents organize auctioning of Ganesh laddu as part of the festivities.
