India’s mixed team of Rishabh Yadav and V. Jyothi Surekha clinched silver in the compound bow category at the World Archery Championship in South Korea. Surekha, the Vijayawada-based archer, added her tenth World Championship medal to an illustrious career.

Their combined score, 1431, was better than the previous world record of 1429, set by Danish pair Tanja Gellenthien and Mathias Fullerton in 2023

Significantly, this is the same category which will be introduced in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics for the first time.
