The Telangana government has constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to draft recommendations for the proposed Rohit Vemula Telangana Bill, 2026, aimed at preventing identity-based discrimination in higher educational institutions. The move comes a day after the Karnataka cabinet approved a similar bill.
