Russia’s Defence Ministry announced a ceasefire from May 8 to May 10 to mark the 81st anniversary of Soviet victory in World War II. The declaration follows Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s remarks at the European Political Community Summit in Yerevan, where he suggested Russia’s Victory Parade may lack defence equipment and face drone threats.
