Shiv Sena (UBT), through its mouthpiece Saamana, sharply attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre over the crackdown on protesters demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. The editorial described the agitation as the “beginning of a revolution,” accusing Modi of shielding “corrupt and incompetent” ministers.
Delhi Police said more than 118 personnel were injured and around 70 protesters detained after the Cockroach Janta Party's "Sansad Chalo" march allegedly turned violent. Police accused protesters of attacking security personnel and damaging government vehicles and public property.
