The deceased person P Sai Reddy, a former Sarpanch of the village, accused the brothers of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of harassing him by getting the wall constrcuted in front of his home to cut off passage to his house. Incidentally, Kondareddypally is the native village of the Chief Minister.
Sai Reddy, who served as Sarpanch of Kondareddypalli for two terms, reportedly endured months of harassment, leading to his suicide by consuming pesticide.
