The Hyderabad Traffic Police have launched a unique road safety campaign by deploying actors dressed as Lord Yama Dharma Raju at busy junctions. The initiative, in collaboration with NGOs, aims to create a psychological impact on violators by blending cultural symbolism with enforcement.
Sarvejana Foundation launched a creative road-safety campaign in Hyderabad, with volunteers dressed as Yamadharma Raju urging riders to wear helmets. Covering 365 traffic junctions, the initiative aims to reduce untimely deaths and transform the city into “Saferabad.”
The mobile X-ray vehicle, which was launched from KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals, Begumpet, will enable care givers to reach remote areas in TS and AP to treat patients and also identifying various kinds of ailments quickly in the districts.
