The country where emails originate and the number of countries they are routed through on the way to their final destination offer important warning signs of phishing attacks.
The malware named ‘Silver Sparrow' comes with a mechanism to self-destruct itself, a capability that's typically reserved for high-stealth operations.
"All a Windows 10 user needs to do is extract the ZIP file or simply look at a folder that contains a malicious shortcut and it will automatically trigger hard drive corruption," reports The Verge.
