The BSE benchmark Sensex gained 230.02 points, or 0.29%, closing at 80,234.08. It had earlier surged by 507.09 points, or 0.63%, to reach 80,511.15 during the day. The NSE Nifty rose by 80.40 points, or 0.33%, ending at 24,274.90. Among the 30 Sensex stocks, Adani Ports saw a 6% rise, while other gainers included NTPC, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Maruti, and Axis Bank.

Adani Green Energy dropped 10.95 per cent and Adani Energy Solutions tumbled 8.57 per cent to hit the 52-week low of Rs 637.85 on the BSE

The BSE Sensex dropped 156.72 points to 77,423.59 in early trade, while the NSE Nifty fell 64.25 points to 23,468.45. Key laggards from the 30-share Sensex included Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, TCS, NTPC, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, and IndusInd Bank.

During intra-day trading, the Sensex dropped by 530 points, or 0.67%, reaching 78,158, while the Nifty fell by 180 points, or 0.76%, to 23,702. The Sensex also hit an intra-day low of 77,959 during the session.

The 30-share BSE Sensex opened in the red, dropping 62.90 points, or 0.08%, to 81,548.51 in early trading. Similarly, the broader Nifty declined by 64.1 points to 24,934.35.

Later, both the benchmark indices faced volatility and were trading with marginal gains

In early trading, the BSE Sensex rose by 292.29 points, or 0.36%, reaching 81,980.74. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty increased by 54.55 points, or 0.22%, to hit 25,069.15.

The BSE Sensex plummeted 1,264.2 points to 83,002.09 in early trading, while the NSE Nifty fell 345.3 points to 25,451.60. Among the 30 Sensex companies, major laggards included Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Larsen & Toubro, Axis Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries, Maruti, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank.

The BSE Sensex dropped 464.22 points to 85,107.63 in early trading, while the NSE Nifty fell 133.85 points to 26,045.10. Among the 30 Sensex firms, major laggards included Tech Mahindra, Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Axis Bank, and UltraTech Cement.

New foreign fund inflows further boosted market optimism. In early trading, the BSE Sensex rose by 129.91 points to reach a record high of 85,966.03, while the NSE Nifty increased by 61.3 points, hitting an all-time peak of 26,277.35.
