Continuing its rebound from the previous day, the BSE Sensex surged 639.85 points to 73,728.18 in early trading, while the NSE Nifty rose by 190.1 points to 22,337.10.

The market capitalisation (mcap) of BSE-listed companies was eroded by Rs 7,93,529.61 crore to Rs 3,94,25,823.46 (USD 4.75 trillion) in three days.

Sensex slides by 377 points to 73,867 on Monday. Hindustan Unilever, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Tech Mahindra, SBI, and Wipro dip over 1% in trading.

Forex traders cited a robust US dollar in global markets and crude oil prices above USD 90 per barrel as factors dampening investor sentiment.

The BSE Sensex rose by 381.78 points to reach a record high of 75,124.28, while the NSE Nifty climbed 99 points to hit a new peak of 22,765.30.

The BSE Sensex soared 497.06 points (0.67%) to reach a record high of 74,373.88, while the NSE Nifty rose 144.70 points (0.64%) to hit a new peak at 22,579.35.

Extending its winning momentum to the third day running, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 556.98 points to 74,208.33 in early trade. The NSE Nifty climbed 192.1 points to 22,519.

In early trading, the BSE Sensex rose by 270.18 points to reach 72,740.48, while the NSE Nifty increased by 87.35 points, reaching 22,092.05.

The BSE Sensex opened 178.02 points lower at 72,433.69, while the NSE Nifty started the day with a decline of 60.30 points, opening at 21,951.65.

The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 595.02 points to 72,696.71 in early trade. The NSE Nifty climbed 181.85 points to 22,020.95.

The Sensex tumbled 736.37 points or 1.01 per cent to finish at 72,012.05. During the day, the benchmark fell by 815.07 points or 1.12 per cent to 71,933.35.

The broader Nifty gained 148.95 points or 0.68 per cent to close at 22,146.65 as 37 of its components settled higher and 13 with losses.

The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 264.7 points to 72,497.19, while the Nifty declined 80.2 points to 21,917.50.

At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 82.82 against the dollar and touched an early low of 82.85 against the greenback.

The Nifty advanced 111.05 points to 22,446.75.
