A 52-year-old car driver from Borabanda died by suicide on Sunday. Family members claimed he had been under stress over the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls. Police registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana will be conducted through a house-to-house enumeration from June 25 to July 24, 2026. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit households multiple times to distribute and collect forms, ensuring eligible citizens are included.
