Officials have already prepared plans to establish solar units in sub-stations of Karimnagar town, Durshed on Karimnagar outskirts and Boinpalli mandal of Rajanna-Sircilla district at a cost of Rs 13.5 crore
As part of this, the government has decided to encourage the installation of solar plants in non-agricultural lands by motivating farmers under the PM-KUSUM scheme
