The new flights also include four new seasonal flights connecting Jaisalmer, the 'Golden City' of India, with Delhi and Ahmedabad, the airline said in a release.

Total income declined by 51.36 per cent to Rs 1,907 crore during the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,921 crore clocked in Q3 FY20, according to a regulatory filing.

The service will be available to both door-to-door domestic cargo as well as airport-to-airport domestic services, SpiceJet said in a release.

Accordingly, the new flights will commence operations in a phased manner from January 12, 2021.

"The airline will be operating four weekly flights and will deploy its 78-seater Q400 aircraft. Nashik is the 14th destination to be connected under Udan by SpiceJet," the statement issued by the Civil Aviation Ministry said.

It mentioned that the COVID-19 test fees in India will be in accordance with the regulated prices set by local government bodies and the same rates will apply for children and adults.
