The AAP announced that renowned Mukhyamantri Chandru, a renowned theatre-film artist and senior politician from Karnataka, has been appointed as the party's state president.

“Setting aside their ideologies, many political parties are having secret deals with the TRS and are indulging in compromise politics,” he alleged, adding that leaders and activists from such parties were joining the BJP

He was accompanied by BJP legislator T Raja Singh and other leaders. The temple committee members welcomed the delegation and felicitated them.

The leader started in a small convoy of vehicles from the BJP party office at Nampally and reached the temple.
