The theft was discovered when the family members returned to find their property missing and reported the incident to the Filmnagar police. The family had been away at the time of the crime.
At the annual press meet on Monday, GRP Superintendent of Police Chandana Deepthi stated that 56 drug-related cases were registered this year, with 38 of them solved and 53 drug suspects arrested. Additionally, 1194.3 kgs of marijuana, valued at Rs 2.9 crore, were seized.
