Internal friction within Punjab Congress escalated as MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Concurrently, former CM Charanjit Channi held a parallel meeting of disgruntled leaders, drawing sharp taunts from Union Minister Ravneet Bittu
He further said that the Congress government has fulfilled 98 per cent of the promises made in its manifesto and the next manifesto will be prepared on the basis of the 'Vision 2030' document.
"The farmer who feeds the entire nation with his blood, sweat and toil cannot be cowed down by such empty threats which would prove to be very costly for the ruling dispensation in New Delhi," said the Congress leader.
