Shreyas Iyer appointed India T20I captain ahead of Ireland, England tours

The BCCI has appointed Shreyas Iyer as India’s new T20I captain, replacing Suryakumar Yadav. The 31-year-old will lead the team on tours of Ireland and England as India begins preparations for the 2028 Olympics and next T20 World Cup.
