The Telangana High Court Advocates’ Association met BRS working president KT Rama Rao, urging him to push for adequate representation of Telangana lawyers in judicial appointments. The delegation highlighted concerns over advocates from other regions allegedly claiming local status and sought adherence to social justice principles.
At Osmania University’s valedictory ceremony, BRS leader T Harish Rao urged law graduates to uphold constitutional values and champion the rights of the oppressed. He highlighted the historic role of lawyers in India’s freedom struggle and Telangana’s statehood movement.
