The district administration has reportedly reached out to the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO) to install solar panels on the IDOC, following the setup of a pilot solar plant at the CPO in the district. Sources indicate that the estimated cost for the 10 KW solar power plant project would be around Rs. 95 lakh.
Singareni Chairman and Managing Director N Balaram, ONGC Director (Exploration) Sushma Rawat and TGREDCO General Manager Satya Varaprasad signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
