Telangana Sarpanches Sangham JAC has urged the State government to release pending bills for development works from 2019–2024, citing financial stress among former sarpanches. Meanwhile, Rs 104 crore was released towards pending Panchayat Secretary dues
The protest was organized under the banner of the Telangana Sarpanches Association Joint Action Committee. Taking advantage of the Prajavani programme being held at Praja Bhavan, the committee members arrived at the venue to present yet another appeal to the government.
