NDRF launched an operation to rescue people stranded in floods in Kondai village in Telangana's Mulugu district.

The liquor ban is effectively enforced by residents of Tammara Bandapalem, a village that was recently merged in Kodad municipality.

The group took up avenue plantations covering the entire village, and trained 45 youngsters from the village as volunteers who were responsible for conducting regular Shramadhan programmes.
