The Election Commission has revised the SIR schedule in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, extending deadlines for notices, claims and objections. The final electoral rolls in both states will now be published on November 30, following requests from their Chief Electoral Officers
Telangana will begin the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls on June 25 with house-to-house enumeration. Draft rolls will be published on July 31, while claims and objections can be filed till August 30. The final electoral roll will be released on October 1
