A minor fire broke out at Terminal 1 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on Thursday evening due to a short circuit. The blaze, reported around 6.10 pm, was swiftly brought under control by emergency response teams.

Terminal 1, which was recently expanded to accommodate more passengers, was inaugurated by PM Modi in March.
