Heavy rain forced the abandonment of the TG20 League championship match between Palamuru Strikers and Warangal Warriors at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on Friday night. Both teams received one point each, ending their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs
TG20 League Governing Council chairman Agam Rao reiterated that the tournament has received BCCI approval and is being conducted as per prescribed guidelines. He said BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit officials are already in Hyderabad overseeing compliance and orientation activities.
