Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated APGENCO for achieving a record thermal power generation of 6,160 MW in a single day, marking 93.19 per cent of its installed capacity.
SCCL is set to supply 2.88 million tonnes of G-11 grade coal annually from its Naini coal block in Odisha to Tamil Nadu Power Generation Corporation. A Fuel Supply Agreement is expected to be finalised within 10 days. This marks a key milestone in SCCL’s inter-state coal supply operations, with Tamil Nadu becoming the first consumer of coal from the Naini block.
