The ministry reported that 11 members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed during Turkey's Operation Claw-Lock in northern Iraq. Launched in 2022, Operation Claw-Lock aims to target PKK hideouts in the Metina, Zap, and Avasin-Basyan regions near the Turkish border.
