Nalgonda municipality has prepared a plan with Rs 1.74 crore to tackle drinking water scarcity in the town in the coming summer season.

He said the government was keen on developing the town and had already sanctioned funds. Udhaya Samudram would be developed into a mini-tank bund and tourist place.
