The Congress has accused the Modi government of failing to prevent exam irregularities, alleging that the UGC-NET Sociology paper held on June 30 was leaked despite being conducted in computer-based format.
The outcome of investigations over NEET paper leak allegations in Bihar and other Indian States, has intensified demands for re-conducting of NEET exams.
The students, mostly of the Samajwadi Chhatra Sangh and NSUI gathered outside the Lucknow University and raised slogans against the UGC, NTA and the Union education ministry.
According to an order by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the revised dates for the exam will be announced later, at least 15 days before the examination.
