The Army foiled an infiltration attempt in the Gurez sector of Bandipora, killing two terrorists near the LoC. This follows multiple recent bids in Uri, with security forces intensifying operations against terrorists, overground workers, hawala networks, and drug smuggling rackets.
The army said that two bodies of the intruders were recovered while the third infiltrator's body could not be recovered because of firing from a Pakistan Army post near the LoC.
