Three persons were arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly selling e-cigarettes and banned foreign cigarettes. Task Force and Banjara Hills police seized 53 vapes, 10 liquids and 76 boxes of cigarettes worth Rs 2 lakh from a Srinagar Colony shop.
Recent investigations have revealed that agents involved in illegal sale of intoxicating vapes and banned e-cigarettes were mostly leveraging digital platforms like WhatsApp, digital payment systems and mobility services building up a robust network to distribute them.
