Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to prepare an action plan to transform Visakhapatnam into a world-class Bay City.
Forest officials in Andhra Pradesh successfully captured a tiger near Rajahmundry after six days of extensive operations involving expert teams from Pune, Delhi, and Hyderabad. The tiger will be shifted to Visakhapatnam zoo.
"The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam will reopen for public from Tuesday onwards as per the instructions issued by the principal chief conservator of forests," said Nandani Salaria, curator of Visakhapatnam Zoo.
