Each drying yard, measuring over 3,000 square feet, would be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.26 lakhs each including Rs 60,000 contributions from the farmers of the respective watershed villages.
In order to give a fillip to the agricultural activities and rural prosperity, the NABARD and DCCB authorities have launched awareness programmes in the watershed villages about the importance of availing loans.
Thanks to the execution of the participatory watershed development projects taken up by the DCCB with the financial grant of Rs 3.55 crore from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
