The Pro Wrestling League has announced six franchises and scheduled its player auction for January 3 ahead of Season Five. Over 300 wrestlers from more than 20 countries are set to feature as PWL returns after a six-year hiatus.

Sakshi Malik slammed Delhi Police saying, saying it did not take "even seven hours" to register the case while it took "seven days" for Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh to be booked.
The Delhi Police will provide security to wrestlers who have come forward with allegations of sexual exploitation against WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Wrestlers of the country have once again taken to the streets to protest against Wrestling Federation India president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. They allege that he and other memebers of the fedeartion have sexually harrsed female wrestlers over the years.
The federation is reportedly angry with the star grappler for her indiscipline at the Games, as Phogat had refused to stay at the Games village and train with other Indian team members.
