Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke said he would appear before a MeitY review committee regarding the withholding of the group's X account. The development comes as the party continues its protest at Jantar Mantar seeking Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation
The Indian government clarified it did not order the blocking of Reuters’ X account, attributing the restriction to an outdated request linked to Operation Sindoor. Officials have asked X to lift the embargo and explain the inadvertent enforcement.
The action came as Pakistan's role as a "rogue state fuelling global terrorism" was laid bare by the public admission made by Asif. A Sky News interviewer last week asked Asif if Pakistan had a long history of "backing and supporting and training and funding" terrorist organisations

Apart from L&T’s @ltmhyd account, which has over 37,000 followers, reports said the hacked accounts included MoneyControl (1.4 million followers), People Magazine (7.8 million), and even EUinmyRegion (an account operated by the European Commission), with close to 100K followers.
