Andhra Pradesh government has launched the YSR Bima scheme, a life insurance scheme for the families of eligible citizens

The CM during his padayatra (marathon walkathon) met many such citizens facing major issues due to lack of insurance coverage. After coming to power, the CM decided to launch the scheme on 21st October.

The scheme aimed at providing security to the families of poor and unorganised workers in the state.
