Daily labourers and vendors dependent on the Ziaguda Abattoir in Hyderabad staged protests against the GHMC and Congress Government over the facility’s closure. The workers, supported by BRS leaders including Gellu Srinivas Yadav, set a Sunday deadline for reopening, warning of a massive demonstration at GHMC headquarters if their demands are not met.
