BRS working president KT Rama Rao said the Congress government is losing public trust in rural Telangana after poor performance in panchayat elections. He warned of bigger defeats in upcoming local body polls and accused the ruling party of unfulfilled promises.
Ahead of the High Court's stay on local body elections, a total of 119 nominations were filed across ZPTC and MPTC constituencies in Telangana. Congress emerged as the frontrunner with the majority of nominations.
