Siddipet: Highlighting what he termed as the Congress government’s inefficiency, Dubbak MLA and BRS Siddipet district president Kotha Prabhakar Reddy stated that the BRS leadership was ready to offer guidance to the ruling party to ensure effective governance.

He made these remarks while criticising the Congress government’s failures in implementing key schemes, including the Rajiv Yuva Vikasa initiative. Speaking to reporters after unfurling the national flag at the BRS district office in Siddipet on Monday, Reddy urged the Congress leadership to consider changing the Chief Minister if it would help improve the administration’s performance.

He strongly criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for delaying the disbursement of Rajiv Yuva Vikasa loans, a move that he said had disappointed lakhs of unemployed youth. He alleged that the promises made by Revanth during the election campaign had not materialised, with none of them being implemented thus far.

The Dubbak MLA remarked that while the Congress had aimed to attract youth through the Rajiv Yuva Vikasa scheme, the absence of a concrete implementation plan had backfired. He also highlighted the confusion among the public over the government’s leadership, pointing to contradictory statements made by the Chief Minister, his Cabinet colleagues, and MLAs.

Reddy said many unemployed youth had spent ₹2,000 each to apply for the scheme but were left disillusioned due to its indefinite postponement.

Drawing a contrast, he praised the BRS government’s track record of efficiently implementing welfare schemes and asserted that the people would deliver a strong message to the Congress in the upcoming local body elections.
