Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said that the State government is taking all steps to make Telangana a drugs free State.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday on the sidelines of a programme at Nampally, the Home Minister said that the police, excise and prohibition department formed special teams to identify the persons involved in sale of drugs including ganja, and initiate action against them.
“The younger generation is getting addicted to vices after consumption of ganja. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is very firm about controlling the drug menace in the State. Special drives are being organised across the State,” he said.
